Henna Mania

Look what a had done while dropping into the sisters place for a little hello. I haven’t stopped staring at my hands.

Henna/dye on just makes your hand look soo much more bearable to look at. lol  for me anyway. I’m very lucky to have a super talent sister who can come up with some amazing stuff. Just leave it to her and you won’t be disappointed.

Here are the pictures from tonight:

So what you ladies think???????

Do enjoy having henna done or you like to stay right away from things like this. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

If you do like it how often would you get it done or is it more a wedding based tradition???

I thoroughly enjoyed that little treat from the sis. Now I guess I just have to brace myself for all those questions tomorrow. Clearly didn’t remember that one in all the excitement 😛

Love always,

Trendy Melbourne xoxoxo

  1. Oooh I absolutely love it! Especially the side. Reminds me of a lace pattern for some reason. I love Henna, especially in black, however I can never find anyone to do it for me and I wouldn't bother trying myself because I know it would only result in a stained messy hand with a whole lot of ugly.

I love art, and I consider Henna a type of art. I like to get it done every now and then. I actually only get it done when the Eid festivals are held and there's that Henna stall. I've stopped going to the festivals a few years back though as they were no longer my forte.
    Someday maybe!

  2. Well well welllll,
    Assalamualaikum sis!
And I just had to say that first! That henna looks gorgeous!!! The black henna is one I have yet to try. Being desi, this is more of a tradition. We look for excuses to get it done. LOL, if you dont mind my asking, where do you live? As in country? B/C if I live near this place, I should check it out! I love your nails. They are sooooo perfect shaped. They are like prefect rectangles! I could never pull that off, I have chubby fingers. Hahaha
    Salams!

  3. Thanks Chica… Mashallah my sister is very talented. It does look like a lace pattern. Oh I knw what you mean about the eid festival thing. I haven't been there in years. It has lost that edge it use to have.
Henna is certainly something beautiful. Similarly in my culture it's a wedding based thing and those married would do it. I never use to like it but have changed a little lately.
