L’oreal gel make-up remover

I tell you doing that product review on Moroccan Oil has got me started. It’s different for me and I hope something new for you guys to see on here.

By now you would of notice that my blog is a more of a personal diary. Post on food, strolls, outings and of course that odd outfit post here and there 😛

I don’t do reviews because I’m not a make-up person and nor am I consistent with what I use so I’ll sound like a hypocrite indorsing products I barely. My thoughts anyway.

So this time I’m going to share with you a product I have been using the last 2 months. The L’Oreal De-maq expert Elixir concentrate gel make-up remover. What a mouth full??

I found it at my local chemist for $7 and I can absolutely say It works really well. It takes off every scrap of makeup. It comes out as a pale yellow oily gel and has a soapy/caramel scent. It spreads out in a thick oil on a dry face and needs about 30s of working it into the skin. It emulsifies nicely but needs a couple of rinses before getting rid of all the residue. I dried my face with a white towel after cleansing a heavy make-up that was applied for a wedding and there were no marks left on the towel, not even mascara. Amazing right!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a thorough cleanser. I also found that it was adequate by itself if I rinse it properly so no other cleanser was needed. My skin was left clean, silk smooth until the next morning and not a single dry patch insight.

The only downside to the product on first use was that I had small pimples on my cheeks a day or two late but nothing too serious to put me off from using it again.

Hope that was informative piece and please tell me if I’m not doing it right.
I can handle the feedback 😛

Take care,

Trendy Melbourne xoxoxox
