A Lace & Velvet kind of day

 Hi lovelies,

After months of umming and arhing about this dress, I  finally purchased it . I’ve been eyeing it on St Frock’s website for sometime.  The question was how to hijabify this particular dress?? I loved the velvet and tulle details but the beautiful lace on the hem was the winner. To my surprise the dress arrived almost too quick. I was super excited to come home to the parcel. I could hardly contain my excitement. The make and quality are fantastic. As a result  of the quick delivery I had to find something to wear underneath asap. I wanted to share it on here so the midi dress was the way to go. With the long weekend upon us I decided on a day trip to Mount Macedon and Woodend with my lovely cousin/photographer Hiba to capture its beauty in one of the many gorgeous private gardens. On our drive through Mt Macedon we stumbled across Forest Glade Gardens. One of Australia’s largest private gardens. I fell in love from the moment we walked through it’s big black iron gates. The stroll through the garden was a lovely way to start the day. We took some lovely shots hope to share some more from the day in another post.

Thank you Hiba for putting up with the cold and me to get all these awesome shots and many more.

I can’t wait to make more outfits from this gorgeous dress. It’s so versatile, one can dress it up or down.

Hope to share more looks on here in the future.

I thought the gloves although unintentional worked with the look.
The necklace is from Lovisa. They have a few different colours black and emerald i've seen only last week. Hope you can find it in store.
