Holiday Time

Hello lovelies,

It’s been awhile.  Hope your all doing well. Want to wish you all a belated Ramadan Kareem. The month has come and is about to depart. Subhannallah how time flies these days.

I’m in Malaysia at the moment only after plan A didn’t come through.
I spent so much time planning Umrah in Ramadan with my brother only to be advised 1 day before departing that the visa didn’t get approved.  Yes I know 1 day before you leave..grrrr
At that moment it felt as though the world came crushing down on me. To say I was guttered is an understatement. If it wasn’t for the amazing love and support from the family I don’t think I could’ve survived the disappointment. It was testing time for me. It got me thinking what I need to do to deserve the approval from Allah. Mecca isn’t like any other city where you can come and go as you wish.  I came so close to cancelling the entire trip but once again through the help of the family I have been able to make some changes and still have my holiday.
Yes Malaysia is no Mecca/Madina but our stay has been nothing short of amazing.

Here are some shots from the first few days in Kuala Lumpur followed by our resort stay in Port Dickson to come later on.

Grand central station- I love the architecture

Outside  the kings palace

Prayed Zuhur prayer here- It was a great way to relax after an hour on the bus.
Simply beautiful mashallah

Didn’t get a chance to go up but instead shopped in the mall on the ground floor.

With my brother on the tour bus- great way to see the local attraction
when times not on your side

My Sephora purchases- Make Up For Ever HD foundation, Urban Decay black eyeliner
Sephora professional buffer brush.

The shopping mall in the hotel complex we were staying at includes Debenhams

The tour bus stopped at this craft market but we completely forgot to return at night.
So mad we missed it.

A day spa and other retreat style business in the Pavillion Shoppping complex

Spent three awesome days roaming Kuala Lumpur and loved it.

Stay tuned for the next post on our stay in Port Dickson.

Take care,

Trendy Melbourne xoxoxo
